Tyler Racing # 51 August 6th
Doug setting up the chasis with the use of scales
Racing Results from the Blue Mountain Speedway
160 Honda Light Class
Friday July 31st, Tyler finished 5th in the 25 lap feature
Friday August 6th, Tyler finished 4th in the 25 lap feature
We've been fighting a " Tight " race car for the last
several weeks, and little by little have loosened it up
which is correcting the front end push. Tyler has done
a nice job of driving a ill handling car, and we believe
we are on the right track with setting up the car.
Doug, and I are now scaling the car to get the correct
cross weight, and documenting the weight changes
from race to race with various track conditions.
Our next race is this Friday night at the Blue Mountain
Speedway, and the West End Fair races are coming
up Saturday August 21st, and Sunday August 22nd.
Hope to see you there !!! Regards, Lou & Tyler

Tyler Racing # 51 July 23rd
To all Tyler's Sponsors & Race Fans
" Ready for Action "
Our features were rained out this past Friday
night at the Blue Mountain Speedway, however
heat races were run.
Tyler started 9th in the field of 10 cars, and
raced his way into 6th spot in the 10 lap event.
With the rain out, heat races were considered
feature events.
Our race car ran extremely well last night, and
we had a great shot at a feature win, but
Mother Nature was the winner. So, we'll have
to wait another week for a feature victory.
Our next race is Friday night July 30th at the
Blue Mountain Speedway.
Hope to see you there !!! Regards, Lou & Tyler

Tyler Racing # 51 June 16th
It was a tough night this Friday night at Blue Mountain
Speedway for Tyler # 51 Racing. The track was dry
lose in our heat race, and just the opposite in our feature
event with a damp tight track. We never really got a
handle on the car for Tyler to drive.
It was trophy night for the 160 Honda Lights, and the
drivers were introduced with their cars to the grandstand
folks. Tyler was a proud little Race Driver, and started
last in the field. He drove his heart out only to hit the wall
coming out of turn two which tore up the front axle, tie
rods, and radius rods. Another learning experience for both
Tyler, and his Race Team.
" Thanks " to ALL Tyler's Sponsors big, and small, we put
the car back together Monday morning with new parts, tested
on a dry track, going back to basics with some quick times
posted. 9.92 second laps which is right on target !!!
Things to share with Tyler's Sponsor's and friends, is the
fact that Tyler did most of the work himself replacing the
front axle, tie rods, and radius rods. There is something to
be said about Quarter Midget Racing, and how it builds
character in the young drivers.
Watching Tyler grow using his hands with tools, making
decisions thinking about the process makes the Quarter
Midget Racing program a very important stepping stone
in his young life.
Our Team continues to learn what Tyler, and the car need
to become one. Tyler also continues to learn what it takes
to drive on various track conditions. Quarter Midget Racing
is a challenge, and the 160 Honda Light Class which is the
2nd from the top is proof of the matter.
Our next race is this Friday night June 23rd at the Blue
Mountain Speedway.
Hope to see you there !!! Regards, Lou & Tyler

It was a hot night at the Blue Mountain Speedway
this past Friday night both with the heat, and the

track conditions, finished in the 3rd spot. The track
tightend up for the feature, and Tyler finished in the
2nd spot for the 7th time this year right on the rear
bumper of ther race leader.
New Hoosier Tires for this Friday night, and a new gear
combination will get us closer to our first feature win
in the Honda 160 Light Class.
Hope to see you Friday night at the Blue Mountain
Speedway. Racing starts at 7:00 p.m.

7/2/2010 Tyler Racing #51
To all Tyler's Sponsors & Race Fans
This past Friday night racing at Blue Mountain Speedway was hot, and heavy
as quiet a few cars showed up from other quarter midget clubs to run with BMQMA.
Phoenixville, West End, Lehigh Valley and, Schnecksville, all had cars represented
this night. Tyler started 5th in his heat, and finished 4th which put him in the 4th
starting position in the 160 Light Honda feature event.
Eight cars took the green in the feature, and Tyler quickly moved into the 3rd
position on the opening lap. The track was super fast, and the cars ran nose
to tail for 20 laps. On the 21st lap, Tyler got high, and dropped to 4th, only
to get the 3rd spot back a lap later due to a yellow.
On the restart, with 3 laps to go, Tyler put the heat on the 2nd place car only
to get tangled up with him, and got sent to the back finishing in the 5th position.
We got a little over aggressive, but a valuable lesson learned.
Our next race is the Friday night at Blue Mountain Speedway.
Hope to see you there !!! Regards, Lou & Tyler

Call it a " Double Deuce Weekend " !!!
Tyler finished 2nd in the Feature Event this past Friday night at Blue MountainSpeedway, and finished 2nd in the Feature Event Saturday night at the West End Quarter Midget 1/5 mile track !!!
( 6 ) second place feature finishes Y.T.D in 9 events !!! Through good heat racefinishes, Tyler started 3rd in both feature events which gave him an inside starting position. Tyler quickly took over the 2nd spot at the green flag, and putthe heat on the leader right up to the checkered flag. At West End, Tyler racedside by side with the leader getting credit for leading a lap. After some contact,Tyler had to get out of the throttle as the two cars almost took each other out,and Tyler finished 2nd.
A feature win in the 160 Honda Light Class is just around the corner, and we'regetting closer every week. Our next race is this Friday night July 3rd at the Blue Mountain Speedway whichwill be the " Red, White, and Blue " Race. Hope to see you there !!!

6/12/09 " Call it Quarter Midget Racing Wars !!! "
To all Tyler's Sponsors & Race Fans. " Call it Quarter Midget Racing Wars !!! "
This past Friday night we were running great at our home track, BlueMountain Speedway when a suspension bolt came lose which resultedin a DNF.Blame Uncle Louie for not finding this on our weekly P.M program.Lessons learned, and it WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN !!!. Saturday afternoon we traveled to the West End Quarter Midget Racing Assocation in Gilbert, Pa with high hopes on getting back on track withthe past weeks problems. Tyler started in the back of the pack, 7th spot, in his heat event, and racedhis way to 2nd spot. It was now feature time, and Tyler started on the outsideof the front row. On the first lap, Tyler got pushed up, and out of the racing groove, and wound up running in last spot. The racing war started here. No one wanted to give up their racing position, and they fought to keep their spots. Side by side they raced on the 1/5th mile dirt track, and often times coming into contact with each other. Tyler raced them clean, and worked his way all the way up to the 2nd spot in the25 lap feature event !!! This was Tyler's fourth 2nd place finish in feature events Y.T.D. in the 160 Honda Light Class !!! This may well of been the best drive Tyler put on in his young racing career. We were all very proud of him, and he was happer than you know what !!! This weeks racing success meant alot to Tyler's racing group. Tyler, Mom Judy, Uncle Jerry, Doug, Jamie, Bonnie, and Lou all made special note that nothingcomes easy. "Pay attention to the details " is our new moto !!!

To All Tyler's Sponsors & Race Fans Friday night May 28th, Uncle Jerry, and Preston Henry took Tyler to the track, and Tyler finished 2nd in the feature !!!
Tyler at this point finished 2nd in the first three feature events of the year. Friday night June 4th, we finished 4th after starting 4th in the feature, in a field of 7 cars, and our carburator problems began. Friday night June 11th, we continued to have carburator problems, and our engine ran flat. We finished 5th in the 8 car field. Today, Saturday May 12th, we took things apart, and found dirt in the fuel system which we removed, and tested with good results at the track. So, we'll give it another try this Friday night, and if our woos continue, we'll send the engine out to the Ruch Engine Performance, and have itgone over.

VERY IMPORTANT TO READ FOR THOSE WHO TAKE MEDICATIONS Especially as we age!! MEDICINE-MIXING ALERT
Most people know not to mix certain medicines without consulting their doctors. Some medicines cannot be mixed with certain foods...and certainly most of us know not to mix certain medicines with alcohol...although, some people think that mixing alcohol and medicine is harmless

To all Tyler's Race Fans & Sponors ( See picture from West End Fairgrounds ) Tyler had an outstanding weekend !!!
Friday night at the Blue Mountain Speedway,Tyler finished 2nd in his heat race, and finished 2nd in the Honda 120 Senior Feature. After starting 4th in the feature, Tyler put on the show of the night by passing the # 44 car which is always the fastest car on the track, and ran down the leader pulling even with him at one point only to get out of the trottle to avoid contact. Sunday at the West End Fairground which was his 3rd appearance on a super speedway, Tyler started 5th in a field of 9 cars, and finished 2nd !!! Tyler was the fastest car onthe track, and has gained valuable experience for the last race in the " PA Thunder DirtSeries " which will be on a equally large track in Snydersville, Pa on Saturday October 17th.
Our new tachometer was an important part of the success over the weekend. Using the data from the tach, Doug & Jerry changed gears to match the track conditions which gave Tyler a super fast race car.
This Friday night is our last race of the year at Blue Mountain, and Tyler will make his 1st apprearance in the Honda 160 Class. " Thank You for all your support, and hope to see you at the races. "
Regards, Tyler & Lou

9/14/09 Tyler Racing #51
To all Tyler's Racing Fans, and Sponsors.
Friday night September 11th, Blue Mountain Speedway was able to get the race inalthough the track was a bit muddy. It was " Always remember night " in honor of allthe people that lost their lives at the Twin Towers 9/11/01.
Tyler started last in his heat race of ( 8 ) cars as he had won the feature the previousweek. He had worked his way up to 4th, and because of excessive mud on the track, hehad to stop in the " Hot Shoot " to clean his face shield as he could not see the track.Back to last again on the restart, and finished 6th.
Tyler started 6th in the feature on the outside, and on lap one, wound up 8th, and againworked his way up to a very respectable 5th. Attached is a picture of Tyler, and his racecar with some of the track mud.
The picture was taken after the heat race, and had twice as much mud after the feature. Tyler's helment & shield was solid mud !!!
Our next race is this Friday night at Blue Mountain Speedway, and on Sunday we'llbe at the West End Fairgrounds for the 4th leg of the " Pa Thunder Series " in whichTyler is currently 3rd in points.
Hope to see you at the Races !!! Tyler & Lou
9/7/09 Tyler Racing #51 Feature Winner
To all Tyler Race Fans, and Sponsors. This past Friday night September 4th, Tyler won both his heat race, and the A MainFeature Event. There were 14 senior Honda drivers on hand, and 2 heat races were run.
The track took the top drivers from each heat, and put them in the 1st Feature, and thebottom half drivers in the 2nd Feature. Tyler had started 3rd in heat # 1, and finished 1st. Tyler started on the outside of the front row in Feature # 1, and raced his way into 2nd spot on lap 1. Three laps later, Tyler took the lead in the 25 lap feature never to look back. This was Tyler's 4th Feature event win of the year. ( See picture )
Sunday we raced at the West End Fairgrounds for the first time to get experience with running on a much larger race track. The track had been put back together the day beforeas the previous week the fairgrounds had run Monster Trucks, and a Demo Derby. The racing surface was loose, and very difficult to set up for.
We did not qualify for theA main, but not through Tyler's efforts. A combination of starting in the back throughthe luck of the draw, and incorrect gear ratios made the car difficult to drive. Bottom line we brought the car home in tach, and got some valuable experience on thetrack were we will race next in the "PA Thunder Series " on Sunday Sept. 20th.
Our next race is this Friday night at Blue Mountain Speedway. Regards, Tyler & Lou

The group was split into ( 2 ) features as only ( 10 ) cars can compete at a time. The first group was the fastest ( 6 ) cars, and the second group was the slowest( 6 ) cars. Tyler started on outside of the front row of the first group, and finished 4th.The track was hard, dry, and dusty with no grip, and Tyler did an excellentjob just keeping it off the wall.
Our new car should be ready the week after next, and will greatly help Tylerwith these track conditions. Will keep you posted with pictures of the new caras soon as it is completed.
