Tyler Racing # 51 June 16th

To All Tyler's Sponsors & Race Fans

It was a tough night this Friday night at Blue Mountain
Speedway for Tyler # 51 Racing. The track was dry
lose in our heat race, and just the opposite in our feature
event with a damp tight track. We never really got a
handle on the car for Tyler to drive.
It was trophy night for the 160 Honda Lights, and the
drivers were introduced with their cars to the grandstand
folks. Tyler was a proud little Race Driver, and started
last in the field. He drove his heart out only to hit the wall
coming out of turn two which tore up the front axle, tie
rods, and radius rods. Another learning experience for both
Tyler, and his Race Team.

" Thanks " to ALL Tyler's Sponsors big, and small, we put
the car back together Monday morning with new parts, tested
on a dry track, going back to basics with some quick times
posted. 9.92 second laps which is right on target !!!
Things to share with Tyler's Sponsor's and friends, is the
fact that Tyler did most of the work himself replacing the
front axle, tie rods, and radius rods. There is something to
be said about Quarter Midget Racing, and how it builds
character in the young drivers.

Watching Tyler grow using his hands with tools, making
decisions thinking about the process makes the Quarter
Midget Racing program a very important stepping stone
in his young life.

Our Team continues to learn what Tyler, and the car need
to become one. Tyler also continues to learn what it takes
to drive on various track conditions. Quarter Midget Racing
is a challenge, and the 160 Honda Light Class which is the
2nd from the top is proof of the matter.
Our next race is this Friday night June 23rd at the Blue
Mountain Speedway.

Hope to see you there !!! Regards, Lou & Tyler
